eric alexander bouchard, composer
Eric Alexander Bouchard is an award-winning young composer. Born in 2003, he started playing tunes on the piano at the age of 2, and began composing piano music at the age of 7. He likes to compose in a variety of styles. He writes for piano, French horn, small ensembles, entire wind and percussion ensembles, and symphonic orchestra. He has also written soundtracks for several short films and plays. He is currently studying piano with David Jalbert and french horn with Lawrence Vine at the University of Ottawa.
Outside of music, Eric enjoys creative writing, drawing, and learning about social sciences.
